I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist practicing in Tucson, Arizona since 2005.  Previously, I was Board Certified in Internal Medicine as well before I became ill.  I completed my Internal Medicine and Psychiatry residencies at Hahnemann-Medical College of Pennsylvania (now called Drexel) in Philadelphia after completing both internships at Duke University Medical Center.  I attended Oregon Health Sciences University Medical School, graduating cum laude in 1996.  Prior to medical school, I was employed for four years as a research assistant, two of which were spent with the Biological Psychiatry Branch at the National Institutes of Health.  I have several publications in psychiatry and internal medicine.  My CV is attached and below.

I have had chronic illness since 2009.

I enjoy working with my therapy patients, riding my horse, gardening, riding my bike, reading and research.
